There could be an abundance of natural resources on the Moon that have significant benefits for life on Earth. However, we will not know if the extraction of lunar resources is possible or practical until we do detailed mineral surveys of the Moon's surface and explore the cold traps located near the poles.

I have led, or played major management roles in, programs for NASA, the DoD, and private industry.
